Alwar Tour
Quite contrary to its name, the Bala Quila (young fort) is one of the very few forts in Rajasthan framed before the rise of the Mughal empire. Predating the time of Pratap Singh, the fort today with its magnetic beauty, towering on a forsaken hill, dominates the town

Alwar is a nice mix of the old and the new, the green and the dry. Lying on the fringes of the Aravalli Range in eastern Rajasthan, the place looks as if it has been carved out of jagged, craggy rocks. The princely state of Alwar came up only in the late 18th century when the once mighty Mughal Empire was breathing its last. On the other hand, Alwar is ancient too. The region boasts of one of the oldest sites in the country – Viratnagar – associated with the Pandava brothers of the Mahabharata fame. and that was somewhere around 1500 BC.

Main Attractions in Alwar
Alwar, the capital of this ancient state, is a bustling industrial centre today। It is also one of Delhi's satellite towns. (37km). Though not a bigshot like Jaipur or Udaipur, Alwar does boast of many beautiful monuments like the City Palace, Bala Quila and Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri. The Tomb of Fateh Jung (1647AD) is a local landmark, with a huge dome and internal ornamental plasterwork in low relief. There's another one – the Tomb of Tarang Sultan (mid-17th century) – which is also known as the Tripolia. The Nehru Park is a beautiful patch of green, lined on one side by blue mountains. In fact, you'd be enchanted by Alwar's Railway Station itself to begin with (if you're coming by train). It’s an old one, made of pink sandstone, and said to be one of the neatest in the country.

Banswara Tour
The Banswara district forms eastern part of the region known as Vagad or Vagwar। The district was formerly a princely state ruled by the Maharavals. It is said that a Bhil ruler Bansia ruled over it and Banswara was named after his name.
Home to the tribal with Bhils constituting half of the total populations Banswara has its name derived from Bans or bamboo trees, which once grew here in abundance. Maharawal Jamal Singh founded the erstwhile state. With Udaipur and Chittorgarh, forming its boundaries, the district presently comprises of the territories of former Banswara State and the Chieftainship of Kushalgarh.

While the central and western portion of the district are fertile plains, the scattered ranges of the Aravali form the eastern region. The ancient town is surrounded by a stone wall, now in ruins. A palace of a former ruler of Banswara stands overlooking the town.

The teak forests are found on the slopes of the Aravalli hills. Mango, Khajur and Mahua trees are also a part of the vegetation of the district. Banswara has rich wildlife including squirrels, lizards, snakes, chinkara, ronj and four horned antelope.

Jaipur Tour
At last but not the least we come to the joyous destination of Jaipur. The final stop of the golden triangle tour at the capital city of राजस्थान
Jaipur, the capital city in the tone of an autumnal sunset, literally blushed pink when Prince Albert, the consort of Queen Victoria, stepped on its soil in 1883. Interspersing the play of red and pink were white borders and motifs, painstakingly outlining the architectural highlights of Jaipur's buildings. Jaipur has been like that since 1727 when Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II had it built that year.
Interestingly, the royal family's earlier residence at Amber, was only 11km away, and had been since the 10th century. Seven hundred years later, the Maharaja chose to raise a "City of Victory", and aptly christened it Jaipur. Co-incidentally, the name also incorporated the first name of the Maharaja thus immortalizing the builder both through his nomenclature of dynasty and concept of ideals.
Jaipur was and remains the only city in the world symbolising the nine divisions of the universe through nine rectangular sectors dividing it. A young Bengali architect, Vidyadhar Bhattacharya formalised the city's plans on the "Shilpa Shastra": the epochal Hindu treatise on architecture, tempering it with the sublimity of Mudhal and Jain influences of the times.

A hot favourite on many tourist itineraries, Rajasthan is an exotic and heady combination of desert, history and culture. Come winter, and the state’s flooded with tourists eager to go on camel safaris, to shop, to visit medieval palaces- and, in an increasingly large number of cases, to go wildlife-watching. Of Rajasthan’s more than a dozen Protected Areas, Sariska is easily one of the best.

Sariska Tiger Reserve lies amidst the Aravali Hills- 800 sq km of grassland, dry deciduous forests, sheer cliffs and rocky landscape interspersed with the ruins of medieval buildings.

Nearly 90% of the area is covered with thickets of scrubby dhok trees, within which lives an impressive array of wildlife - including the elusive and majestic tiger। Apart from the tiger, a variety of other wildlife like the leopard, sambhar, chital, nilgai, four-horned antelope, wild boar, rhesus macaque, langur, hyena and jungle cats are found in the park. Also a highly visible section of Sariska’s inhabitants are its many birds- the park is home to India’s largest population of peafowl, and harbours quail, sandgrouse, golden- backed woodpeckers and crested serpent eagles, among other species. The Siliserh Lake, on the edge of the park, has a large number of crocodiles.

Gir National Park

Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary comprises 1412 sq km of deciduous forest interspersed with semi-evergreen and evergreen flora, acacia, scrub jungle, grasslands and rocky hills।

Introduction
The Gir National Park is located among the low, undulating and excellently irrigated hills in the Junagadh district of Gujarat. It is famous for being the last existing natural home of the Asiatic lion, although it has a healthy population of other animal species too.

The Gir forest covers an area of 1150 square kilometers with 300 square kilometers forming the core area of the national park। The park receives a good annual rainfall averaging 1000mm. The temperatures at the park vary to extremes, as they do with most of the country too. In winters, the temperatures go down to as low as 6 degrees centigrade, while soaring up to a scorching 46 degrees in the summers. The park is open to visitors from November to May but the best time for visiting the park, taking comfort and wildlife viewing into consideration, is December to March. The park offers many excellent drives through scenic areas. For the more impatient and less adventurous, the park authorities organize "lion shows" in the Dewaliya area, which are a sure-shot way of seeing the magnificent big cats. These "spectacles" for the public are hopefully soon going to be axed, as is proposed by the more thoughtful of the governing bodies, and a safari park instead is to replace them with an area of around 1000 acres being set aside with a higher population density of lions to enhance sighting chances.
