Sanganer Airport (Jaipur)
Sanganer Airport (Jaipur) is the only international airport in the state of Rajasthan. Jaipur Airport was granted the status of international airport on December 29, 2005. The airport is located at Sanganer near Jaipur. With the runway length of 9,000 feet and the civil apron capable of accommodating four A-320 aircraft at a time, the terminal building can cater to 500 passengers at a time. Plans are afoot to extend the runway length to 12,000 feet and expand terminal building to accommodate 1,000 passengers per hour. Nal Airport (Bikaner)
This is a domestic airport in the city of Bikaner. It is situated approximately 8 km from the main city.

Kota Airport (Kota)
Another domestic airport in Rajasthan, it is approximately 10 km from the main city.

Jodhpur Airport (Jodhpur)
Jodhpur also has a domestic airport. It is approximately 5 km away from the city center and has daily flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Udaipur and Jaipur.

Maharana Pratap Airport (Udaipur)
Udaipur has the domestic Maharana Pratap airport. It is situated approximately 22 km to the south of Udaipur.

Jaisalmer Airport (Jaisalmer)
The Jaisalmer domestic airport is open only from 1st October to 31st March।

Sanganer Airport, Jaipur

Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur

Maharana Pratap Airport is the only domestic airport located in the Rajasthani city of Udaipur. Udaipur is a very popular destination with every tourist visiting the land of valor and warriors i.e. Rajasthan and is called by the locals and tourists alike as the Lake city due to the presence of the very beautiful lakes called Fateh Sagar Lake and Pichola Lakes, which looks stunning with the reflection of the city palace falling on it and the Lake Palace built in the midst of the lake. Jodhpur Airport
The Jodhpur airport is approximately 5 kilometers from the center of the city। It has domestic flights daily from Mumbai, Udaipur, Delhi and Jaipur.

Kota Airport

The airport first began as a military airfield built by the Japanese occupying forces during World-War II. It is also known then as Jesselton Airfield. Towards the end of the war, it suffered severe bombings by Allied Forces until the surrender of the Japanese army in 1945.

After the war, the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) of North Borneo (now Sabah) took charge of the operations and maintenance of the airport। In 1957, the original grass strip runway was resurfaced with bitumen material and a new terminal was built. By 1959, the runway was extended to 1,593 metres long to enable the operation of Malaysia Airways Viscount aircrafts. In 1963, there was the re-enforcement and further expansion of the runway to 1,921 meters long to cater for Comet 4 operations. Commercial flights and passenger arrivals gradually increased and a larger terminal building was needed to accommodate this increase.

Nal (Bikaner) Airport

Bikaner has made an important place for it in the tourist circuits of India as tourist visit this magnificent place in thousands, especially during the tourist season between November and March. The airport is located at an elevation of 710 ft. and has only one runway with the dimension of 9000ft by 150 ft. The only terminal of the Nal (Bikaner) Airport has the capacity for twenty arrivals and departures, which is quite small in comparison to other domestic airports in India.

Jaisalmer Airport
The Jaisalmer domestic airport is open only from 1st October to 31st March। There are daily flights of Indian Airlines and private airline Jet Airways to Rajasthan from New Delhi and Mumbai. The check-in time for all airlines is at least one hour before the time of the flight.

However, getting to Jaisalmer Airport is not an easy task, at it’s only a small airport operated by the Indian Air Force but indeed allows the arrival and departure of civil commercial airlines in and out of the airport especially during the tourist season between the time span around the arrival of winter and before setting of the summer. Located at a distance of about 9 km away from the city center of Jaisalmer, it is situated on an elevation of eight hundred and eighty seven feet and has one runway of the length of 9055 ft and only one terminal.
